Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in an exciting enterprise project, developing their skills in planning, teamwork and problem-solving.

The project began with careful discussion and decision-making, as the children planned which biscuits they would like to make. After weighing up different ideas, they chose to create delicious gingerbread biscuits.

Next, Year 2 visited the local supermarket to buy the ingredients, giving them valuable real-life experience of shopping, budgeting and reading labels. Back at school, the pupils worked together to bake their biscuits, following instructions carefully and taking great pride in their efforts.

The project concluded with the children selling their biscuits to raise an impressive £63 for the Wildline Wildlife Sanctuary in Saxilby. They showed fantastic confidence and enthusiasm while talking to customers and handling transactions.

Well done to Year 2 for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit — a brilliant learning experience from start to finish! 🍪
