Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)
Burton Hathow is an Independent School for children aged 2-11. We are seeking a passionate and committed practitioner to join our outstanding nursery team and progress in a professional and supportive environment.
The setting offers an extensive woodland provision and two nursery rooms for our Caterpillars (2-3 years) and Butterflies (3-4 years).
This application is a 42. 5 hour a week, all year-round position.
Salary: £28,089.36
Responsibilities:
– Manage and supervise children in the nursery setting
– Drive the implementation of engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2-4 and report to parents
– Create a safe, welcoming, calm, nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained
– Foster positive relationships with children, parents and staff through effective communication
– Work together as a team with regards to daily routines and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
– Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education
Skills:
– A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
– Proficient in English language both verbally and written
-Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
– Ability to work as a team member with motivation for the best outcomes for the children
– Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate children
– Knowledge of early childhood education principles and early childhood development
– A proactive and positive approach for behaviour among children
– Excellent safeguarding knowledge
-Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
