Today, we gathered to celebrate the incredible achievements of all our students, with a special focus on our Year 6 leavers. The church was filled with pride and joy as we reflected on the many accomplishments of our children, each one making us incredibly proud.
The Year 6 speeches were truly outstanding, each one heartfelt, full of memories, and showcasing their growth and confidence. It was clear from their words that they are ready to take on the world and continue shining brightly.
Our choirs delivered exceptional performances, filling the church with beautiful harmonies, while the orchestra played with passion and talent, leaving everyone in awe. Each performance was a reminder of the dedication and effort our students put into their crafts.
We also took a moment to say goodbye to and celebrate the outstanding contributions of Mr. Hardcastle, Mr. Daly, Miss Pearson, and Mrs White to our Burton Hathow family. Their dedication to nurturing and guiding our children has been invaluable, and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors.
A special congratulations to Connie Crust, who was awarded the prestigious Head Teacher’s Award! Connie has truly exemplified the values we strive to instill in all our students—hard work, kindness, and authenticity.
The overarching themes of today were “Being Your True Self,” “Aiming High,” and “Taking Your Path.” These are the values that we hope all our students carry with them as they move forward in life, embracing who they are and pursuing their dreams with confidence.
A special thank you to Mr. Nowell for organising such a wonderful event, and to St Peter in Eastgate Church for graciously hosting us in such a beautiful and welcoming space.
To our Year 6 leavers, we wish you all the success and happiness as you take your next steps. Keep shining!
