Our outdoor learning sessions have been full of creativity, teamwork and exploration this week across the school.
Our Butterflies and Reception children have been making the most of the natural world around them, creating their very own nature necklaces by drawing minibeasts onto natural wooden discs. They also used leaves and pegs to create their butterfly friends, combining imagination with fine motor skill development.

The children thoroughly enjoyed tackling a range of outdoor challenges, including designing and building water rapid contraptions, crafting pine cone spiders and testing their engineering skills in the ever-popular log chunk tower challenge. It has been wonderful to see their problem-solving, resilience and collaboration shine through in every activity.

Meanwhile, our Upper School pupils have been busy enhancing our outdoor spaces. They have been brightening up the pergola area with colourful plants and hanging baskets, helping to create an even more inviting environment for our school community. They have also been developing our new planting beds, which will continue to flourish throughout the year.

A huge thank you goes to all the parents who have kindly supported these projects through donations. Your generosity helps us to provide rich, engaging outdoor learning experiences and continue developing our wonderful school grounds for all pupils to enjoy.
