This week Burton Hathow took part in #JustOneTreeDay, uniting with schools around the world to reforest the planet. For every pupil that took part a tree will been planted, and the Burton Hathow forest will start to grow. The money raised not only goes towards planting trees, but to providing agricultural training and education, and sustainable incomes to communities in Madagascar, Haiti, Indonesia, Mozambique, Nepal, Kenya and Zambia where deforestation has been devastating.

Thank you to all our kids who came into school in their own clothes to fundraise planting a forest for our school. This just shows “No one is too small to make a difference!”
