This term we have been looking at football across the school. We have seen some excellent progression from Nursery all the way to Year 6. Also more and more BH pupils joining local football clubs and groups which is excellent to see and will further develop their skills.
A quieter term in regards to fixtures due to cancellations from other schools.
Our Under 9 mixed teams visited Highfields for 2 games. Both BH teams coming away with victories on the day. A very enjoyable fixture for our group.
Our U9 hockey team had a late call from Ranby to fulfil a free fixture in their calendar. Having not played any hockey this term, the children were slightly nervous. On the day we played both Ranby A and B team. BH played some fantastic attacking hockey, winning both games comfortably. Mr Bell was very pleased with the children’s attitude and skill level.
This next half term we move onto Netball and look forward to more fixtures.
