Football and netball focus continued this term across the school. A variety of fixtures across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire with the odd hockey fixture thrown in to keep our children on their toes!

Our under 11 football team started with 2 fixtures at St Hugh’s. Both games were highly competitive with Team BH sneaking a draw in the closing minutes of each match.

Our under 9s started at a hockey tournament also hosted by St Hugh’s. All the children were mixed up and played 3 games against other mix up teams. Huge benefits for their hockey ability but also their social skills.

Weather affected some of the netball fixtures this term with our next two games being cancelled against Orchard and Wellow.

Our U11 hockey players visited St Hugh’s for another mix up tournament. Some excellent hockey on show with our children showing some super skills.

The U11 football team headed to Wellow for matches against Lincoln Minister and Wellow. Our first game against LMS was played with great intensity. BH won the game 5-2.

We moved on to play Wellow in the 2nd game. This game was a tighter affair with the game finishing 1-1.

U11 Netball played a tournament at St Hugh’s with Orchard too. Team BH played 4 games in total ; winning 3 and losing 1 on the day. The boys and girls adapted to the 5 a side rules very well.

We finished our term at Ranby with 2 of our teams playing 2 of their teams. Team BH worked hard on their speed of play and their shooting improved from previous matches.

A wonderful term of sport. We look forward to the weather getting warmer and the cricket season to begin.
