The Christmas term is always an exciting one, with the opportunity to learn a lot about the cultural differences in how Christmas is celebrated in Spanish speaking countries. Nursery and KS1 learned all about the day of the Kings (January 6th) and are hoping that they will receive treats in their shoes and not coal!

Year 4 have been learning about Shapes and prepositions and the artist Juan Miro and worked hard with Mrs Burch and Mr Millard recreating their own Miro style artwork to display in our School.

Year 5 have been listening to some authentic Spanish music, which we all enjoyed. They learned to give their opinions on different genres and artists too!

Year 6 have been doing an independent research task on Fiestas of Spain. Each student presented their findings to the class and taught us some vocabulary on the fiesta they had chosen. There was some superb work, and I am very proud of how they all completed the task set.
