A busy half term in the art room with many 3D and sculptural pieces of work being completed. To commemorate Remembrance Day, poppies were made by all the children in Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and were displayed in the school entrance hall.

Year 2 had their Nativity in the forest and so made pom-poms for the Campers hats and drew maps of the route from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

Year 3 finished their hand made books and had tremendous fun making our three Kings.

Year 4 made and tested a range of kites this term, the key frustration being the lack of a windy day for any of our art lessons this term which made accurate evaluation somewhat tricky.

Year 5 finished their printing projects and hopefully will have been sharing with you at home their amazing prints.

Year 6 continued with their three-dimensional wire work culminating in writing their names in wire and constructing dowel and wire Christmas tree decorations.  They also worked in the forest and made stars from twigs which they hung in the trees to support the Year 1 and 2 Nativity.
