The half term started off with completing another week of remote learning. We were all so excited to be returning to school, the children were more than ready to see their friends and Miss South and Mrs Wells were looking forward to giving children the hands on/ face to face teaching again that we had hugely missed.

The children have been exploring different countries around the world, finding out about their customs, traditions, music, landmarks and food. Obviously the food aspect was well received!

Social interaction and play has been vital to the children’s development and well being. Working together and understanding the needs of one another has been key in our daily learning for our younger children.

Imaginative play is a priority in the lower school, encouraging children to express themselves using the experiences, knowledge and modelling they see from adults and peers. We’re now just working on tidying up!!
