This term has seen the children reach for the stars! They have discovered how long it would take to fly to the moon, looked at the position of the planets and our brightest star, the sun.
In small world they became astronauts and designed their own aliens. Out in the woods they worked together to make a rocket out of natural resources and found an old pan lid as their alien warning device. Lots of negotiation and storytelling was evident during the space adventures. They watched how Tim Peake drank bubbles of water as they floated up in space and know that we have gravity here on earth.
Boxes have been integral as always, with rockets and aliens being made, along with many other creations.
Lots of crafts have been completed, ready to hang on their Christmas trees and hopefully become part of a family tradition and treasured for years to come.
The children have learnt the songs for the Nativity and our singing aliens  certainly had their dance moves perfected at our performance. Everyone learnt their lines and loved performing to the children in school and then family members.
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas.
See you in 2023!
