It may have been a bit of a different run up to Christmas this year, but the whole BH family were determined to make sure that we all felt in the Christmas spirit. Our ‘Elf’ Owls helped to kick it all off with a special advent box for each bubble, meaning each class could have their own advent calendar, special decorations and fun games to give us all a huge amount of joy. We also experienced the most amazing pantomime, again, courtesy of our Owls who usually facilitate our visit to the theatre. This year the panto came to us virtually. Jack and th Beanstalk was amazing and we had a special message from one of the cast members’ Mrs Spencer’s son!
The School Council decided that Covid shouldn’t spoil our fun either, and, along with Mrs Lyons, organised a travelling Christmas fete that brought smiles and laughter to every corner of our school. Our Christmas parties and wonderful Christmas lunch made our end of term festivities truly special, thank you Miss Gayle and Mrs Spencer. Well done to everyone. A Christmas we will never forget, and, as a number of children have said, ‘the best ever!’ Now that is a huge achievement considering our current climate!
