As we come to the end of this past term, it’s been wonderful to see the incredible range of art projects our pupils have brought to life. Their creativity has been nothing short of inspiring.

From expressive painting projects bursting with colour, to thoughtful photography work capturing shape, light and perspective, our children have shown real artistic courage. Their sculpture pieces have brought texture and form to life in exciting ways, while the lantern-making has filled our classrooms with a warm, handcrafted glow. And of course, the Christmas decorations have added a spark of festive magic to every corner of the school.

What stands out most is not just the final pieces, but the process behind them – the experimenting, the problem-solving, and those moments when a pupil steps back, smiles, and feels proud of what they’ve created.

These projects remind us of the power of the arts in education: to build confidence, nurture expression, and help pupils see the world – and themselves – in new ways.

A huge thank you to our staff for guiding these experiences, and to our pupils for filling our school with such imagination. It’s been a wonderfully vibrant term, and I can’t wait to see where their creativity takes them next.
