Our Burton Hathow Carol Service was a truly special evening and a wonderful celebration of music, tradition and community.

The service featured a rich programme of performances, showcasing the talent and dedication of both pupils and staff. The Lower and Upper School choirs performed the Nativity Triptych, written by our very own Mr Nowell, which captured the hearts of the entire congregation. Alicia also gave a stunning solo of Once in Royal David’s City, delivering a truly memorable moment of reflection.

The Upper School Chamber Choir performed Angelus ad Virginem, while the Upper School Orchestra played Masters in This Hall. Meanwhile, the Year 2 & 3 Orchestra performed Wise Men Three, delighting all in attendance. Adding to the magic of the evening, the Staff Choir performed O Holy Night, featuring a beautiful solo by Miss Smith.

Readings were shared by both pupils and staff, reinforcing the sense of community and togetherness that lies at the heart of this much-loved Burton Hathow tradition. The combination of music, readings and festive spirit created a calm and reflective atmosphere, making it a truly memorable end-of-term celebration.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to St Peter in Eastgate and to Reverend Robbie for leading us in the service, as well as to all the families who attended and supported the event, raising a fantastic £124.62 for the Nomad Trust.

The Carol Service remains a cherished part of the school calendar, bringing the Burton Hathow community together to celebrate the season and showcase the remarkable talent and commitment of our pupils and staff. It was a privilege to be part of such a thoughtful and uplifting occasion.
