Pupils in Years 3 -6 took part in an engaging and informative workshop led by the Cambridge Science Centre. They sequenced DNA in plants and discovered how this information could be used by scientists to create medicines. The children really valued seeing what real world applications there are for the knowledge and skills that they learn in their science lessons.
