Burton Hathow is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to work with a children aged 2 and 3 years old.


Role commencing on Monday 7th November 2022 or Tuesday 3rd January 2023 (depending upon suitability of applicant).

Hours:
37.5 hours per week term time plus 15 days during holidays (flexibility with days and working hours)

The job role includes nurturing and educating young children and working alongside an experienced and hard working team.

Pay/ Salary: Dependent upon experience and level of qualification (please contact school for clarification)

Burton Hathow is an independent preparatory school educating children from the age of 2- 11 years old. It is set within 4 acres of land with an adjoining woodland area. The Nursery is open all year round with 2 rooms comprising of the ‘Caterpillar’ children aged 2 and 3 years of age and the ‘Butterfly’ children aged 3 and 4 years of age in their pre-school year.

Essential Skills:
Childcare qualification minimum Level 3 NVQ equivalent
Previous experience of working with young children
Commitment to Safeguarding
Planning and implementing activities suited to the ages and stages of development of the children

Desirable Skills:
Basic health and safety knowledge
Previous or current paediatric first aid qualification Interest/ experience of forest school teaching Flexibility to adapt to different situations and Good communication skills
